Job Overview

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) in Dubai is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming Roads and Infrastructure projects in Dubai. The position is focused primarily on street lighting works and is suited to professionals with strong electrical engineering experience in UAE roads, infrastructure, and construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical and lighting systems associated with roads, bridges, interchanges, underpasses, and related infrastructure. Strong hands-on experience in street lighting is the primary requirement, while experience with under-bridge, underpass, and tunnel lighting will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support electrical engineering activities for roads and infrastructure projects.
• Execute and supervise street lighting works as a primary project responsibility.
• Support under-bridge and underpass lighting installations where required.
• Contribute to tunnel lighting works where applicable.
• Manage electrical works associated with roads, bridges, interchanges, and infrastructure projects.
• Work with LV electrical networks, feeder pillars, cabling, lighting systems, earthing, and related infrastructure.
• Review and interpret shop drawings, electrical drawings, technical specifications, and material submittals.
• Supervise installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical and lighting systems.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, site teams, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor electrical works to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
• Support resolution of technical issues related to electrical and lighting systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE project standards, specifications, and HSE requirements.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation and project records.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant Electrical Engineering experience.
• Strong experience in UAE Roads and Infrastructure or Construction projects is preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in Street Lighting is mandatory for the role.
• Experience in Under-Bridge or Underpass Lighting is highly preferred.
• Tunnel Lighting experience will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of electrical works associated with roads, bridges, interchanges, and infrastructure projects.
• Practical experience with LV electrical networks, feeder pillars, cabling, lighting systems, and earthing.
• Ability to review and interpret shop drawings, electrical drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
• Experience in electrical installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong coordination skills with consultants, subcontractors, site teams, and relevant authorities.
