Job Overview

Bahrain International Airport is recruiting candidates for multiple technical, operational, maintenance, tailoring, cleaning, and heavy equipment operator positions in Bahrain. The recruitment drive includes opportunities for Mechanical Technicians, Mechanical Fitters, Tailors, Cleaners, Excavator Operators, and Forklift Operators.

These positions offer candidates the opportunity to gain international work experience in a professional airport and facilities environment. • Mechanical Technician – 50 vacancies – BD 100–130 + Overtime
• Mechanical Fitter – 40 vacancies – BD 100–130 + Overtime
• Tailor – Gents/Ladies, Cutting & Stitching Master – 10 vacancies – BD 110–120 + Overtime
• Cleaners – 30 vacancies – BD 80–90 + Overtime
• Excavator Operator – 40 vacancies – BD 150 + Overtime
• Forklift Operator – 30 vacancies – BD 155 + Overtime

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Technician

• Perform mechanical inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing activities.
• Identify mechanical faults and support corrective maintenance.
• Follow technical specifications, workplace procedures, and safety requirements.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Support efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.

Mechanical Fitter

• Install, assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and components.
• Carry out fitting and maintenance activities according to technical requirements.
• Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment safely.
• Follow workplace quality and safety procedures.

Tailor – Gents/Ladies

• Perform professional cutting, stitching, alteration, and garment finishing.
• Take accurate measurements and prepare garments according to specifications.
• Operate sewing and tailoring equipment.
• Ensure quality, fitting, and finishing standards are maintained.
• Complete assigned tailoring work within required timelines.

Cleaner

• Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties in assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene according to workplace standards.
• Handle cleaning equipment and materials appropriately.
• Follow health, safety, and workplace procedures.
• Report maintenance or cleanliness issues to supervisors.

Excavator Operator

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently.
• Perform excavation, loading, grading, and related site activities.
• Conduct basic equipment inspections before operation.
• Follow site instructions and safety requirements.
• Report equipment faults or operational issues promptly.

Forklift Operator

• Operate forklifts safely for material handling and transportation.
• Load, unload, move, and position materials as required.
• Conduct routine equipment safety checks.
• Follow warehouse, workplace, and safety procedures.
• Maintain safe operating practices at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Relevant experience in the selected position is preferred.
• Mechanical Technicians and Mechanical Fitters should have appropriate technical experience and practical mechanical knowledge.
• Tailors should have professional cutting and stitching skills, with experience in gents and/or ladies tailoring.
• Excavator and Forklift Operators should have relevant equipment operating experience.
• Cleaners should have experience in commercial, industrial, airport, or similar cleaning environments where applicable.
• Ability to follow workplace instructions and safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work according to the required schedule.
• ECR and ECNR candidates are accepted.
• Position-specific training or certification may be required depending on employer and operational requirements.

• Mechanical Technician: BD 100–130 + Overtime
• Mechanical Fitter: BD 100–130 + Overtime
• Tailor: BD 110–120 + Overtime
• Cleaners: BD 80–90 + Overtime

• Forklift Operator: BD 155 + Overtime
