Job Overview

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Senior IBM webMethods Developer for a remote opportunity in India. The position is suitable for professionals with 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration, API management, middleware technologies, and cloud-native application environments.

The successful candidate will work extensively with IBM webMethods Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, Kubernetes, REST and SOAP Web Services, API integration, CI/CD, SQL, and scripting technologies. Strong hands-on experience with both IBM webMethods and Kubernetes is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using IBM webMethods Integration Server.
• Develop and manage API integrations using API Gateway.
• Work with Universal Messaging (UM) for enterprise messaging and integration requirements.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot webMethods applications in Kubernetes environments.
• Develop and integrate REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Work with JSON and XML-based data formats.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for integration and application requirements.
• Use Shell Scripting and/or Python for automation and technical support.
• Design and implement API integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and production incidents.
• Perform application and integration performance tuning.
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
• Support continuous improvement of integration architecture, development processes, and deployment practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in software integration and development.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM webMethods Integration Server.
• Strong experience with API Gateway.
• Hands-on experience with Universal Messaging (UM).
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience is mandatory.
• Experience with REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Strong knowledge of JSON and XML.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Good SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Shell Scripting and/or Python.
• Strong understanding of API integration.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills.
• Experience working with enterprise integration environments.
• Azure, AWS, or GCP experience is an advantage.
• Software AG or IBM webMethods certification is an advantage.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with an immediate notice period are required.

Important Client Requirement

Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with both IBM webMethods and Kubernetes. Profiles with limited Kubernetes experience will not be considered.
