Job Overview

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Senior Data Developer / Data Architect for an opportunity in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role is suited to a senior data professional with 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, enterprise databases, data warehousing, data integration, and modern cloud data platforms.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of enterprise data solutions, including Oracle Database and Exadata, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Informatica, ODI, Azure, OCI, ETL/ELT, Data Integration, Data Governance, and Master Data Management (MDM). Candidates with previous UAE Government project or enterprise experience will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable enterprise data architectures.
• Develop and maintain data models aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Work with Oracle Database and Exadata environments.
• Design and support enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions.
• Develop and manage ETL and ELT data pipelines.
• Implement data integration solutions using Informatica and/or ODI.
• Work with Azure and OCI cloud data platforms.
• Support enterprise data architecture and integration initiatives.
• Implement data governance and Master Data Management strategies.
• Analyze data requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Optimize data processing, integration, and database performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, application teams, and technical architects.
• Ensure data solutions meet security, quality, governance, and performance requirements.
• Contribute to technical documentation, architecture standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience in data development, data engineering, or data architecture.
• Strong experience in Data Architecture and Data Modeling.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database and/or Exadata.
• Experience designing and supporting Data Warehouse and Data Lake environments.
• Strong experience with Informatica and/or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Experience with Azure and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Strong knowledge of ETL, ELT, and enterprise data integration.
• Experience with Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM).
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical design skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Previous UAE Government project or enterprise experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates must be available to join immediately.
