Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Gen AI/ML Lead with 12+ years of professional experience to lead enterprise Generative AI and Machine Learning initiatives in Dubai. The role will be responsible for driving AI strategy, solution architecture, development, deployment, governance, and enterprise-wide adoption of advanced AI technologies.

The successful candidate will design and implement enterprise AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, Python, LangChain, and modern machine learning frameworks. The position also requires leadership across prompt engineering, model evaluation, experimentation, MLOps, MLflow, AI governance, security, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Generative AI and Machine Learning initiatives from strategy and architecture through development and deployment.
• Define AI strategies aligned with enterprise technology and business transformation objectives.
• Design and implement AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, LLMs, RAG, and vector databases.
• Design enterprise RAG architectures covering document processing, embeddings, retrieval, vector search, and contextual generation.
• Lead prompt engineering, model evaluation, experimentation, and AI solution optimization.
• Develop AI and ML solutions using Python, LangChain, and modern machine learning frameworks.
• Establish and manage MLflow and MLOps practices for scalable model lifecycle management.
• Design and implement automated AI and ML deployment pipelines.
• Establish AI governance, security, responsible AI, model monitoring, and evaluation frameworks.
• Collaborate with data, cloud, cybersecurity, engineering, and business teams to identify and deliver high-value AI use cases.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend appropriate enterprise applications.
• Provide executive-level technical guidance and recommendations on AI strategy and transformation.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Manage client-facing engagements and technical discussions with UAE-based clients.
• Lead stakeholder communication, requirements analysis, solution design, and technical decision-making.
• Support enterprise AI adoption while maintaining scalability, security, reliability, and responsible AI standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of professional technology experience, with substantial experience in AI/ML and enterprise technology.
• Proven experience leading Generative AI and Machine Learning initiatives.
• Strong expertise in Azure OpenAI and OpenAI APIs.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and vector databases.
• Strong knowledge of prompt engineering, model evaluation, experimentation, and AI optimization.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience with LangChain and modern machine learning frameworks.
• Practical experience with MLflow and MLOps.
• Experience building automated AI/ML deployment pipelines.
• Strong understanding of document processing, embeddings, retrieval, vector search, and contextual generation.
• Knowledge of AI governance, security, responsible AI, model monitoring, and evaluation frameworks.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams across data, cloud, cybersecurity, engineering, and business functions.
• Proven client-facing experience with UAE clients is required.
• Excellent executive stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant AI, Machine Learning, Cloud, or technology certifications are an advantage.
• Preference may be given to ISSS-trained professionals.
