Job Overview

Elegancia Arabia is seeking an experienced Contracts & Commercial Manager to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is designed for an experienced construction and commercial professional with a strong background in contracts management, commercial administration, and large-scale project delivery across the GCC, preferably within the Saudi Arabian market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key contractual and commercial matters across complex construction projects, including claims, variations, extensions of time, commercial negotiations, and contract administration. Strong practical knowledge of FIDIC contract forms and experience working with major KSA clients and developers will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage contracts and commercial activities across large-scale construction projects.
• Administer construction contracts in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Apply practical knowledge of FIDIC contract forms to project-related matters.
• Manage and assess contractual claims and variations.
• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate extension-of-time (EOT) claims.
• Lead commercial negotiations with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor contractual obligations, commercial risks, and project commitments.
• Provide commercial guidance throughout project execution.
• Support effective contract administration and documentation.
• Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, procurement, and other project teams.
• Maintain strong commercial relationships with key clients and project stakeholders.
• Contribute to commercially sound project decisions and successful project delivery.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in construction contracts and commercial management.
• Engineering educational background.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale GCC construction projects.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of FIDIC contract forms.
• Proven expertise in claims and variations management.
• Strong experience managing extension-of-time (EOT) matters.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration.
• Experience working with major KSA clients or developers such as Nesma, Red Sea Global, or similar Tier-1 organizations is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Candidates currently based in KSA are preferred.
