Job Overview

A security and surveillance team is seeking an experienced Security and Surveillance Officer / Control Room Security Operator to support security operations at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh. The role is responsible for monitoring security systems, operating surveillance cameras, managing visitor access, and responding appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.

The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of security experience, preferably within corporate environments, hotels, or security installations. Strong English communication skills and practical knowledge of CCTV and access control systems are required for effective day-to-day security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and security control room operations.
• Operate and monitor security and surveillance equipment.
• Monitor access control systems and regulate visitor access.
• Verify and manage visitor entry in accordance with established security procedures.
• Identify and report suspicious activities, security incidents, and potential threats.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and security-related situations.
• Maintain continuous awareness of activities within assigned areas.
• Coordinate with relevant security and operational teams when incidents occur.
• Maintain accurate security logs, reports, and incident records.
• Follow established security procedures and access control protocols.
• Remain calm and professional when handling emergencies or high-pressure situations.
• Support the overall security and safety of the assigned facility.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in security operations.
• Experience in corporate security, hotel security, or security installations is preferred.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Practical knowledge of CCTV systems.
• Knowledge of Access Control systems.
• Strong observation and situational-awareness skills.
• Professional attitude and conduct.
• Ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions under pressure.
• Good communication and incident-reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a security control room environment.
