Job Overview

A leading company in the K-12 and higher education e-learning industry is seeking an experienced Senior Software Project Manager to lead high-impact software development projects. The role requires a strong technical understanding of .NET-based software development combined with proven project management expertise and the ability to manage complex software delivery initiatives.

The successful candidate will manage the full software development lifecycle, from project planning and requirements through development, testing, and final delivery. The position involves leading cross-functional Development, QA, and UI/UX teams within Agile/Scrum environments while managing project risks, budgets, timelines, stakeholder expectations, and delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software development projects from initial planning through successful delivery.
• Manage the complete software development lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional Development, QA, and UI/UX teams.
• Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage project delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and delivery milestones.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation plans.
• Work closely with clients, Product Owners, developers, QA teams, and technical stakeholders.
• Understand .NET-based software architecture and development processes.
• Discuss technical architecture, evaluate technical trade-offs, and support effort estimation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables meet agreed requirements and quality standards.
• Use Jira, MS Project, or similar project management tools to manage project activities.
• Communicate project status, risks, timelines, and key decisions to stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain effective client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes.
• Ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives, technical requirements, and delivery timelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience specifically as a Software Project Manager.
• Strong technical understanding of .NET-based software development.
• Ability to understand software architecture and discuss technical trade-offs.
• Experience estimating software development effort.
• Proven experience managing the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience leading Development, QA, and UI/UX teams.
• Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with clients, Product Owners, and technical teams.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, MS Project, or similar project management platforms.
• Strong knowledge of project risk, budget, schedule, and timeline management.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or Web Portal Development is preferred.
• PMP certification is a strong advantage.
• Scrum or Agile certification is a strong advantage.
