Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Threat Intelligence Manager to join a leading banking institution in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on a yearly renewable contract. This opportunity is ideal for cybersecurity professionals with extensive experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), banking security, Open Banking, API security, and emerging cyber threats. The successful candidate will lead the organization’s Cyber Threat Intelligence function, protecting critical financial services and digital banking infrastructure.

As a Threat Intelligence Manager, you will oversee the complete Cyber Threat Intelligence lifecycle, delivering actionable intelligence to Security Operations Center (SOC), Incident Response, Fraud, and executive leadership teams. You will play a strategic role in strengthening cybersecurity resilience by identifying advanced persistent threats (APTs), ransomware campaigns, third-party risks, and emerging attack techniques. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) lifecycle.
• Monitor cyber threats targeting Open Banking APIs, fintech integrations, and third-party ecosystems.
• Develop threat actor profiles, including Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), ransomware groups, and financially motivated attackers.
• Deliver actionable cyber threat intelligence to SOC, Incident Response, Fraud, and executive stakeholders.
• Integrate threat intelligence with SIEM, SOAR, and EDR platforms aligned with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Support Red Team and Purple Team exercises to strengthen organizational security posture.
• Monitor cybersecurity advisories issued by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).
• Manage external intelligence feeds and maintain relationships with FS-ISAC and other intelligence-sharing communities.
• Identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) and indicators of attack (IOAs) to enhance threat detection capabilities.
• Prepare executive-level threat reports and strategic cybersecurity recommendations.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree is considered an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Proven leadership experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, preferably within the Banking or BFSI sector.
• Experience managing enterprise threat intelligence operations and security programs.
