Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Prompt Engineer to join an innovative team in Sydney, Australia on a contract basis. As a Prompt Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and evaluating production-grade AI solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable prompt strategies, improve model performance, and build intelligent AI systems using modern technologies such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, vector databases, and cloud-based infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize prompts for production-grade Large Language Model (LLM) applications.
• Build AI-powered solutions using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks.
• Develop and integrate AI agents to automate business workflows.
• Evaluate prompt performance through model evaluation techniques and A/B testing.
• Work with vector databases to improve information retrieval and AI response quality.
• Develop and maintain AI applications using Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Integrate REST APIs and JSON-based services into AI workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy AI applications using CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize AI models for scalability, accuracy, and enterprise performance.
• Support continuous improvement of AI systems through testing and performance analysis.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in Prompt Engineering and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience building enterprise AI applications.
• Strong background in AI workflow automation and prompt optimization.
