Job Overview

A leading organization is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join its team for Marine & Infrastructure Projects in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, international quality standards, and approved quality management procedures. Working closely with project teams, the QA/QC Engineer will oversee inspections, documentation, and quality compliance while supporting the successful delivery of large-scale marine and infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures throughout project execution.
• Prepare, review, and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Manage Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Perform inspections and quality audits during construction activities.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation and project quality records.
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients on quality-related matters.
• Identify non-conformities and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare quality reports and communicate project quality performance to management.
• Promote continuous improvement in quality management processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer on Marine and Infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and quality management systems.
• Experience preparing and managing:
  • Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Work Inspection Requests (WIRs)
  • Material Inspection Requests (MIRs)
  • Project quality documentation
• Familiarity with relevant international standards and project specifications.
• UAE project experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional quality certifications and ongoing professional development are considered an advantage.
