An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join a leading organization in Doha, Qatar. This full-time onsite position is ideal for IT infrastructure professionals with extensive experience in enterprise systems engineering, backup and disaster recovery, storage administration, virtualization, and server management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise infrastructure, backup solutions, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and disaster recovery operations to ensure high availability, security, and business continuity. Working with technologies such as IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM), Commvault, VMware, Windows Server, Linux/UNIX, and enterprise databases, you will contribute to mission-critical IT operations while supporting infrastructure optimization and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure and systems.
• Administer and support IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM) and/or Commvault backup environments.
• Manage enterprise Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Administer Windows Server and VMware environments.
• Support Linux/UNIX operating systems including AIX, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and SUSE Linux.
• Perform storage administration and capacity management.
• Manage and support IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms, preferably BMC Helix.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and infrastructure health.
• Administer enterprise database environments including MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SAP HANA.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement performance improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and support business continuity initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to deliver secure and reliable enterprise services.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Systems Engineering.
