Cube Consultants is seeking an experienced Tender Engineer to join its engineering consultancy team in the United Arab Emirates. As a Tender Engineer, you will play a critical role in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), performing quantity take-offs, developing technical specifications, and evaluating vendors and suppliers. Working closely with project teams, you will ensure tender documentation aligns with project requirements, consultancy standards, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for elevation and façade works based on issued drawings and project schedules.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs and item breakdowns for tender preparation.
• Develop and review technical specifications in accordance with project requirements and consultancy standards.
• Prepare and evaluate vendor and supplier lists for tender submissions.
• Review engineering drawings and tender documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams to ensure high-quality tender documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Support cost estimation and tender evaluation activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in tendering within an engineering consultancy firm.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying.
• Experience preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Expertise in quantity take-offs and tender documentation.
• Knowledge of façade and elevation works.
• Ability to prepare technical specifications.
• Experience evaluating vendors and suppliers.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
