An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced L2 Build Engineer (VMware & RHEL) to join a leading technology organization in Malaysia. This onsite role is ideal for IT infrastructure professionals with expertise in VMware virtualization, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Linux administration, and enterprise infrastructure deployment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building, configuring, and maintaining enterprise infrastructure while supporting virtualization platforms, Linux servers, databases, and operating system environments. Key Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and deploy enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Administer and maintain VMware virtualization platforms.
• Install, configure, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
• Perform Linux and Unix server administration, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Support Oracle and MySQL database environments.
• Develop and maintain Shell scripts to automate system administration tasks.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and resolve system issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and database teams during deployments.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Support system upgrades, patch management, and infrastructure optimization.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• 3–5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering, Linux administration, or systems engineering.
