Job Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join a leading organization in Dubai on a contract basis. This onsite role is ideal for quality engineering professionals with extensive experience in test automation, modern software development practices, and enterprise application testing. The position focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions through robust testing strategies, automation frameworks, and continuous integration processes.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional development teams to implement quality engineering best practices, support shift-left testing initiatives, and improve software reliability across web and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise applications.
• Implement quality engineering strategies based on the test pyramid and shift-left methodologies.
• Develop and maintain unit, component, contract, and integration tests.
• Create and execute automated tests for iOS and Android mobile applications.
• Build API contract tests using Pact, PactFlow, and OpenAPI specifications.
• Configure and optimize SonarCloud for code quality and test coverage analysis.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
• Write and maintain YAML configuration scripts.
• Collaborate with software developers to improve application quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Monitor application performance using Grafana and cloud-native monitoring tools.
• Manage test cases, defects, and quality metrics using QMetry, Xray, and Jira.
• Support containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with up to a 30-day notice period are preferred.
