Job Overview

Marc Ellis is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer (Arabic Speaking) to support enterprise digital banking transformation projects in Riyadh or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is a 1-year extendable contract designed for professionals with expertise in DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, container orchestration, cloud-native platforms, and enterprise infrastructure automation. Candidates must be fluent in Arabic and have a maximum notice period of 30 days.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and automated DevOps platforms while ensuring compliance with banking security standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Groovy) and GitLab CI.
  • Administer GitLab repositories, branching strategies, merge policies, and GitLab runners.
  • Manage JFrog Artifactory or Nexus repositories, including artifact lifecycle, retention, and promotion.
  • Integrate DevSecOps tools such as SonarQube, Trivy, JFrog Xray, SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Administer and manage OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
  • Configure namespaces, RBAC, operators, monitoring, upgrades, and GitOps deployments using Argo CD.
  • Containerize enterprise applications and manage secure container image repositories.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments using Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python.
  • Integrate authentication with Active Directory, SAML/OIDC, and manage enterprise secrets using Vault or CyberArk.
  • Support production releases, incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and change management.
  • Ensure compliance with SAMA Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), banking security standards, and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to improve DevOps maturity.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience.
  • Arabic speaking proficiency is mandatory.

  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and security controls within CI/CD pipelines.

    • Audit and Compliance Requirements
  • Experience working in the banking or other highly regulated industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (EX280)
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
