Job Overview

Marc Ellis is seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on a 6-month extendable contract. This opportunity is ideal for quality assurance professionals with hands-on experience in manual testing across web, mobile, API, backend, and database applications. Immediate joiners are preferred.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications by executing comprehensive testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for web, mobile, API, backend, and database applications.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
• Conduct API testing using Postman or SoapUI.
• Execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and database functionality.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Utilize Jira, Xray, ALM, or equivalent tools for test management and defect tracking.
• Analyze application logs, technical workflows, and system dependencies during defect investigation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Support system integration testing and enterprise application validation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–7 years of practical manual testing experience.

• Good understanding of:

  • Test design techniques

• Hands-on experience with:

  • ALM
  • Equivalent test management tools
• Experience with:

  • SQL
• Ability to analyze logs, technical workflows, and system dependencies.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Banking, FinTech, Digital Payments, Cards, Lending, Onboarding, or Digital Channels.
• Experience in large-scale system integration testing environments.
• ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent testing certification.
• Basic understanding of:

  • Mock Services
• Arabic language proficiency is preferred for selected positions.
