Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer to join a leading enterprise technology team supporting mission-critical banking applications. This onsite opportunity is based in Farmers Branch, Texas, with a secondary location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role is ideal for senior software engineering professionals with deep expertise in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Java, OpenShift, cloud-hosted solutions, and enterprise Linux environments.
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership, extensive banking industry experience, and a proven ability to architect cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade software applications.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) solutions.
- Develop scalable backend services using Java.
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications using OpenShift.
- Support enterprise applications running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Design and implement secure cloud-hosted solutions.
- Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver enterprise software solutions.
- Participate in application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
- Ensure application scalability, performance, reliability, and security.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- 14–20 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Recent banking industry experience is mandatory.
- Previous banking experience (minimum second banking project/employer) is required.
- Minimum 5 years of active LinkedIn profile.
- Local candidates preferred for onsite work.
